Since it time to barbecue, people will be making a lot of hamburgers…which means they will chop a lot of onions…and run into this problem: they cannot get their onion slices to look pretty, as the onion slices keep falling apart!
So here is my tip for you: slice onions “along the equator.”
If you slice the onions “along the equator,” you will end up with prettier slices that won’t fall apart!

*Note: Onions have little lines or “the grain.” Be sure to cut against the grain.
